You ask me how to get a bigger butt. You want a butt that’s round and firm, that stands proud and commands attention. You do not want a monstrous booty that’s loose and sagging like a sack of potatoes.
Well, I can help you build the butt of your dreams. A butt that resembles a juicy peach. A butt that will strain the fabric of your jeans and the eyes of every red blooded male on the street. A butt that stops traffic and ends wars.
What I’m taking about is a butt like a thong wearing Brazilian beach babe. I am talking a butt that is toned and firm and sexy as hell.
A bigger butt for an hourglass figure
Bigger butts are very hot right now. Many of the hottest celebrities are rocking a bigger butt and flaunting it shamelessly. There is a secret to why the big butt is so sought after. When you combine a bigger butt with a flat stomach, you will achieve an hourglass figure. The hourglass figure has a timeless and universal appeal that spans civilizations and cultures. Scientists have found references to hourglass figures in ancient Indian and Chinese literature.
It’s all about the hip to waist ratio
Associate Professor Matthew Rockloff, Deputy Director of the Institute for Health and Social Science Research at CQ University has applied his considerable intellect to this question. According to Professor Rockloff, men respond to an ideal hips to waist ratio of 0.7 as it strongly correlates with fertility. In the caveman era, men would seek women with this hip to waist ratio because they would have the best chance of producing healthy babies. As men are still kinda cavemen deep down, this preference is still hardwired in their brains.
Practical benefits of a bigger butt

- It will protect your internal organs if you trip and fall when wearing killer heels.
- It will keep skinny bitches away from you when you are fighting for bargains at the fashion sales.
Wrong ways to get a bigger butt
- Butt implants. They could explode in an airplane and cause an international terrorist alert.
- Chocolate chip sundaes. This is just going to make you fat. You don’t want a saggy butt.
- Padding your underwear. This can work but you will become a laughing stock when you eventually are found out.
The right way to get a bigger butt
Getting a bigger butt is all about working the gluteus maximus. Despite what you might think, the gluteus maximus is not a Roman Emperor. The gluteus maximus is your butt muscle. If you try to clench your butt cheeks together you will feel your gluteus maximus contracting. What you want is to develop your gluteus maximus to make your butt bigger.
The butt exercise to rule them all
There are many exercises that will give you a bigger butt. The most popular are squats and lunges. Squats and lunges will certainly work your glutes. However they also engage your quads, the muscles at the front of your thighs. My preferred exercise for working your glutes is the single leg stiff leg deadlift. This move really maximizes the glute involvement and your quads are only used as stablisers. If you really focus on this move, you will not need anything else.

You can try it right now without dumbbells. Put your hand on your butt as you execute the motion. You should be able to feet your butt muscles contract hard as you lift your body.
Now to really work your butt, I would recommend that you use dumbbells and do the exercise for 3 sets of 10 reps. 10 reps is the optimum number for muscle growth [known as ‘hypertrophy’]. This will really build your butt and make it big and firm.
The big butt strength workout
You can’t just work your butt in isolation and expect to look great. You need a whole body strength workout to develop lean muscle tone and lower your body fat. The single leg stiff leg deadlift takes care of your butt. For the rest of your body I will go with my standard routine of compound movements worked for 3 sets of 5 reps. This is the best regime to get you toned without bulk.
Warm up beforehand with a set each of bodyweight pushups and squats.
- One arm shoulder press VIDEO 3 sets of 5 reps on each arm
- Bent over row VIDEO 3 sets of 5 reps on each arm
- Single leg stiff leg deadlift VIDEO 3 sets of 10 reps on each leg
- Weighted lying leg raise VIDEO 3 sets of 5 reps
Big butt cardio workout
You will also need to do some high intensity cardio to help you burn off your body fat. I often recommend sprinting as a great form of high intensity cardio. However to really work your butt I am going to recommend you do kettlebell swings. Kettlebell swings are great for getting that bubble butt look. In my previous post I showed you how to do one arm kettlebell swings with one arm. This time, you are going to do two swings with both arms. The technique is the same. If you don’t have kettlebells, don’t worry, dumbbells will work just as well.
Warm up with a few minutes of running on the spot.
- Two arm kettlebell swing VIDEO 30 secs
- Rest 30 secs
Repeat until you can’t do any more up to a maximum of 20 minutes.
Putting it all together
Pick 4 days a week to workout. On the first day do the strength workout, on the second day do the cardio workout, on the third say do the strength workout, on the fourth day do the cardio workout. Make sure you follow a wholefood diet.
